The lower districts taught survival early. Cargo vanished constantly. Credentials changed hands three times before sunrise. Entire fight rosters disappeared overnight because someone with enough nerve and the right access codes decided they should. Sirivex built a reputation there before he was old enough to enter the sanctioned brackets. Not for killing people. For embarrassing them.
Competitors blamed smugglers. Sponsors blamed hackers. Syndicates blamed each other. Meanwhile Sirivex moved through private elevators, executive halls, and secured vaults with the calm confidence of someone who already knew where every camera was pointed.
