Mimicron is a cyborg duplication construct originating from early experimental replication research tied to automated combat adaptation systems. Designed to analyze and reproduce encountered individuals, it generates functional copies based on the last observed subject, inheriting surface behavior patterns and combat expression derived from that imprint. Its deployment within The Trophaeum was intended to test scalability of adaptive opponents under live arena conditions. Over time, Mimicron became less a tool and more a destabilizing presence, blurring the line between observer and participant as each encounter risks propagating another version of what it has already seen.
