Excuse our dust

Welcome to the very first post on the official Rankbreaker blog! 🎉

We’re still unpacking boxes and sweeping up sawdust here, so forgive the rough edges. Until now, all of our progress updates have lived on r/Rankbreaker, but this blog will be our new home for dev diaries, feature spotlights, and beta news.

So, where’s Rankbreaker at right now?

In short: late-stage development and finally hitting some exciting milestones. Getting here wasn’t easy — it actually took us nine full restarts to get multiplayer stable. Every time we changed the card design, we had to go back and rebuild huge chunks of the system. After nearly five months of iteration, we’ve reached the point where the full game loop works: players draw, play through rounds, score correctly, and we can declare a winner.

That means we’re just about ready to start showing Rankbreaker off properly. Our desktop beta will come first, with mobile following soon after — and yes, your progress will carry across platforms.

We’ve attached the most recent full parity video at the bottom of this post if you’d like to see how things are shaping up.

Thanks for being here this early. It’s been a long road already, and we’re just getting started.
